ANAWANGIN, ZAMBALES: Anawangin Cove is situated at Barangay Pundaquit, Municipality of San Antonio, Zambales. The kilometer long stretch of a beach is made out of volcanic materials that spewed out by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo on 1991. Before it was opened as a tourist spot in Zambales, Anawangin is one of the home of the indigenous Aetas that once lived in the cove but due to the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo they have decided to flee and leave their homeland and never comeback.

Anawangin is now a tourist spot. A perfect place to hang out with friends, family, colleagues, workmates, etc.

TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS:
There are no cellular signal in Anawangin and its source of electricity is limited so if you are planning to go to this place you should bring atleast 2 powerbanks with atleast 10,000mAh and that is only good for 2 days and 1 night. If you are planning to stay longer, a single 30,000mAh powerbank will do.

The food there is a little bit pricey so you better bring your own food or you can go and buy some food in San Antonio Market before riding a boat going to Anawangin Cove. This only applicable if your food is not included in your tour package.

For accomodation, mostly you will stay in a camping tent. But there are some resorts there that offers a bigger tents and a nippa hut rooms.
