The kilometer long stretch of a beach is made out of volcanic materials that spewed out by the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo on 1991. Before it was opened as a tourist spot in Zambales, Anawangin is one of the home of the indigenous Aetas that once lived in the cove but due to the eruption of Mt.
